When a school is considering redesign, external funding sources such as grants can
become a necessity. It is quite a challenge to navigate through the entire grant process,
from identifying promising programs all the way to implementing the redesigned
curriculum. Join Meredith Altman from Genesee Community College as she discusses her
experience in applying for grants and redesigning developmental math courses.
About the Presenter:
Meredith Altman is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and the University of Kentucky, and has taught developmental math at Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY, for 27 years. She and her husband enjoy observing wildlife, solving puzzles, and discussing different sizes of infinity at any time of the day or night.
