In this presentation, Professor Colleen Clemens will help participants understand the ever-evolving language used to affirm student identities. Participants are asked to bring their terminology questions to the session as a starting point to ensure everyone leaves with a better sense of how language matters to our students as they come into their own identities.
About the Presenter:
Colleen Clemens is a Professor of English and Director of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Professor Clemens earned her Ph.D. in Post-Colonial Literature at Lehigh University has been teaching for 25 years.
