Teaching Linear Regression Using Rguroo

Rguroo is a point-and-click statistical software that unleashes the power of R on the cloud.

Presenter Dr. Mori Jamshidian of California State University, Fullerton, demonstrates a data analysis exercise to show how Rguroo’s linear regression function can be used to teach simple and multiple linear regression interactively.

Interactive teaching eliminates the need for long static PowerPoint slides and enables instructors to teach students steps in conducting data analysis in a live fashion.

In addition, Dr. Jamshidian showcases helpful Rguroo tools, such as Rguroo’s RGR files, which allow users to share and reproduce all analyses, data, graphs, and reports.
