Teaching Helping Skills Online: Your Counseling Students Can Do It

In this presentation, Dr. Ann Kerlin of Luther Rice College & Seminary will explore how Helping Skills focused courses have adapted to online learning. Helping Skills is typically taught in-person, where students spend much of their time practicing interviewing skills with one another. The online courses incorporate video practices, using professor feedback, and peer-to-peer evaluations to achieve the same results.
