As students become overwhelmed with reading and writing in the online course format, creating multiple ways to both learn and demonstrate their learning are increasingly important. In this presentation, Dr. Shawna Hudson of Iowa Wesleyan University will show you how to make small changes that create a big impact for your students. Based off the text, Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science in Online Classes by Darby and Lang, you will walk away with small changes you can implement immediately. Dr. Hudson will share 5 small changes that can set you and your students on the path for success. Ask questions and share your own experiences with small changes following the demonstration!
