This 15-minute webinar will provide an overview of the changes and enhancements released in the new edition of the pocket-sized manual, Reading and Writing Handbook for the College Student.
The lead editor will share how this edition focuses on providing the most up-to-date research guidelines through a framework of approachable instruction and contextualized examples that help students feel confident about research writing. New APA 7th edition guidelines are included, along with other research style updates to content from CMS 17th, MLA 8th, and CSE 8th editions.
The new Handbook includes more inclusive and relevant examples, instructional content, and writing samples. We will cover some of the changes made including those aimed to speak to a more diverse student population, present more relatable content and connect to a wider range of student backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
