Let’s face it—academic writing is not every student’s favorite course. But what if we could get them to care just a little bit more about the work they do in the course? This webinar will discuss one instructor’s strategy of implementing assignments, activities, and structure for academic writing courses that had students caring about the writing process and their essay outcomes.
About the Presenter:
Olivia Buzzacco is an Assistant Professor of English at College of the Albemarle in Manteo, NC, where she teaches academic writing, literature, and creative writing. She received her BFA and MFA in Creative Writing at Bowling Green State University. Olivia has presented work at the Conference on College Composition and Communication, the North Carolina Community College System Conference, and the Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy.
