Francine Long is a passionate educator with over twenty years of experience. She currently teaches mathematics at Edgecombe Community College in North Carolina; prior to this role, she taught at West Edgecombe Middle School and North Edgecombe High School. She received both her master’s and bachelor’s in Secondary Education with a Math Concentration—the former from East Carolina University and the latter from SUNY Oswego in her home state of New York. Additionally, Francine spent twelve years in the United States Army Reserves.
