Join Dr. Doris Bennett of Jacksonville State University for a first-hand look at how being both a Hawkes contributor and user has impacted her classroom experience and her work with students. As a contributor, Dr. Bennett has worked on a wide range of projects, including a major focus on the supplemental Guided Notebook that guides the note-taking process, includes extensive graphing practice, asks students to directly apply lessons learned to their own experiences, and more.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Doris Bennett has a B.A. in economics from Randolph-Macon Women’s College and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. She previously taught at the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg and at Converse College. She is currently at Jacksonville State University, where she has taught Principles of Micro and Macro, Intermediate Micro and Macro, Health Care Economics, and Business Statistics for 33 years.
