About the Presenter:
Laura Brown has been working as an English Content Specialist for Hawkes Learning for over three years. She specializes in developing and editing instruction and managing contributor-centered projects that build and enhance Hawkes resources. Prior to working with Hawkes, Laura spent seven years teaching high school English. She taught a variety of writing and literature courses while also working as a writing tutor. Additionally, Laura taught several writing courses as an adjunct instructor at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. She focused on introducing basic writing and analysis skills to incoming or recently-returning students.
