In this presentation, Professor Colleen Clemens of Kutztown University will discuss how to usefully affirm identities of students virtually and how to set practical strategies in place to let students know you recognize their different identities. She will focus on gender and sexuality, but many of the topics discussed and developed can translate into other realms of identity.
About the Presenter:
Colleen Clemens has been teaching for 25 years and has taught middle school to graduate school. She is an English professor with a focus on global anglophone texts and the Director of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Kutztown University.
