About the Presenter:
Kathie Lennertz, M.S. is an Instructor in the Mathematics Department of Fort Hays State University. She has been teaching mathematics and statistics in a variety of formats (traditional, hybrid, closed-circuit TV and online) since 1987 at several colleges and universities in the United States.

Ms. Lennertz has co-authored peer-reviewed publications on the changing prevalence of diabetes and related co-morbidities among nursing home residents. She also co-authored an article on the impacts of changing smoking laws on indoor air quality. In addition, she served as Assistant Chair of the 2012 Teaching Public Administration Conference.
